Christian Schütze runs Switzerland based “Generteq” and collaborates deeply with OWE on a regular basis. He holds a Masters Degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Leoben, Austria.
He has over 15 years of managerial and technical experience with a hands-on approach and a constant career progression at leading global oil & gas companies.
Christian is highly analytical with a track record of developing cohesive strategies to address complex situations and deliver results. Commercially adept and eager to find the right solutions to meet project needs and create maximum value. He has a strong focus on HSE in both planning and operational stages of a project. Over the course of the last couple of years Christian has developed a strong interest in the geothermal industry, and drilling geothermal wells. He is determined to transfer the experience gained in drilling operations world-wide to the benefit of local companies developing renewable energy projects through Generteq.
His comprehensive drilling and workover experience in shallow water, deep-water and land operations, is complemented with a vast experience in HPHT, MPD and ERD techniques applied on exploration and development drilling projects.
